Sampling

One piece. Seven days. No minimum.

Eleven suppliers we looked at will not publish a sampling policy. We publish ours, because it is the cheapest way for you to find out whether we can build what we say.

Times are working days from the moment we have everything we need — not from the enquiry.

The sequence

Seven days, four emails

  1. 1

    Send the brief

Photo or sample, dimensions if you have them, the finish you want and the quantity you plan for production.

  2. 2

Approve the quote and the drawing

You get the sample fee, the freight estimate and the production price in the same message, so the sample does not become a hidden cost.

  3. 3

We cut and build one piece

7 days for a copy, 15 days for a new drawing, counted from approval.

  4. 4

    Photos, then dispatch

Four sides, edge close-up and the carton, before it leaves. You approve or we revise once, free.

  5. 5

    Credit and produce

Sample fee comes off the first invoice. Production runs 25–35 days from the day you approve the sample.

How the fee works

Priced from the piece, not from a price list.

A sample of a 22 kg cabinet is not the same cost as a sample of a 8 kg feeder, so we quote it from the board area, the hardware and the labour of that one piece. You get the number before we cut, and it does not change unless you change the spec.

The full sample fee is credited against your first production order. We are not in the sample business; the sample is the first meeting.

  • Typical fee: USD 80–120 for a feeder, USD 120–180 for a litter cabinet, USD 220–340 for a crate console
  • Freight is separate and quoted at cost — around USD 70 for a small piece to the US, USD 150–450 for a console
  • Fee credited in full once the first production order is placed, regardless of its size
  • Payment by T/T or through an inspection agent's escrow, your choice

Before it ships

You see it before it leaves.

Every sample is photographed from four sides, with a close-up of the edge banding and the hardware, and the photos reach you before the carton is closed. If the finish is wrong you tell us at that point, not eight thousand kilometres later.

  • Four-side photos plus an edge close-up, sent before dispatch
  • Carton photographed and weighed, so the loading figure you saw is the one that ships
  • Tracking number and a packing list with the sample
  • One free revision of the drawing or finish before material is cut

Sample questions

Answers before you pay

Is there a minimum to get a sample?

No. One piece, any of our designs or yours. There is no commitment to a production order, and the fee is only credited if you place one.

How long does the sample take to arrive?

7 days to build from your sample and 15 from our drawing, then 4–8 days by air express to the US or EU, depending on customs.

What if the sample is wrong?

One revision is free before we cut. If the sample arrives different from the approved drawing, we rebuild it at our cost.

Can the sample be shipped with my branding?

The piece can carry your engraved logo; the carton is usually plain for a single sample. Branded cartons start at 200 pcs.

Can I use my own freight account?

Yes. We will pack to your forwarder's instructions and send the commercial invoice and packing list directly to them.

Tell us which product, which finish and where it ships. We reply with the sample fee, the freight and the exact date it leaves the workshop.
